The impact of the coronavirus has shaken almost every industry, with no certainty about where this will end. Increased restrictions on how people gather and behave affects your customers and affects your business.
It may feel like you have very little control at the moment, however digital signage does give you one area of complete control - about how you inform your customers and your staff. Not only can you let them know about changes to your business (from an appropriate social distance of course), but it’s also a perfect vehicle for public safety information.
Use digital signage to remind people about ways they can protect themselves, their colleagues and their loved ones from infection. Here are some points to consider running on your digital signage network:
Frequently wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
Use hand sanitiser when soap and water isn’t available
Cough or sneeze into your elbow or clothing, not your hands
Don’t touch your face
Stay at home if you’re sick, and consider medical advice
You only need a facemark if you exhibit symptoms of COVID19
Panic shopping is not cool
Hoarding is not cool
“In these stressful times, it’s more important than ever that your digital signage provides clear and correct information that creates a positive experience,” says Andrew Becker,
MD at datmedia.
